Help San Marcos High’s Marching Band keep their sections!
Donation protected
At San Marcos High School in San Marcos, California, I am a passionate bass clarinetist. But, for marching band, because of the extreme costs of bass clarinets and their repairs, they will most likely not be marched for the coming marching season next year.. :’(

(That means all our bass clarinetists will not be able to march the bass clarinet, and would have to either switch instruments or quit)
Other instruments may be cut aswell, and there will be a lot more limitations for students’ choices, like trombones being reduced to a much smaller number, and potentially cutting flutes as well because of a lot breaking over the past season. These are less definite, but the most endangered is the bass clarinet, my instrument.
SanMarcosBands.org If you want to support the band directly you can also use this link, I just want to use GoFundMe to reach more people. (Through the main band website or here donations could be tax deductible so check it out and add that your donation is going towards this cause!!)
I marched this past season for our show Endless Night and have never loved music more, so to have this music opportunity taken away because of budget would be devastating for me and many other band members because we want our instruments to be a part of our futures.
I adore the bass clarinet (and to me it’s the most gorgeous instrument to ever take the field). Please help me and my school be able to afford to march the bass clarinet!! I’ll be forever grateful.

(The goal will increase over time if we hit milestones, but the real goal is around $10,000, these milestones are just amounts of money needed for certain things, like $500 for a few repairs, or about $3,000 for a nice used bass clarinet!!)
