Help us keep Little Smiling Faces Daycare open

For the past three months, Little Smiling Faces Daycare in Mitchellville MD has been closed due to COVID-19.  Our county has been one of the hardest hit in the nation, so it's no surprise that as they begin preparations to open back up, some parents are still preparing to keep their children home a little while longer.  Meanwhile, the costs keep mounting.  As a parent of this fabulous daycare, I am worried about their ability to stay afloat over the next few months, and I want to make sure that when we are all ready to send our children back, the teachers and staff that we love so much will be there to welcome them. 

Little Smiling Faces is really a special place.  The kids all love their time there, and the teachers teach compassion through their words and actions.  They have also managed to find the balance between preparing the children for the rigors of school while keeping learning fun and ensuring lots of time for play.  They take the children on wonderful field trips and have extra activities scheduled almost every week.  We couldn't love them more, and it breaks our hearts to see them struggling.  So please, I know that everyone seems to have their hands outstretched right now, but if you have the means, send a little bit their way.  Help this wonderful place for our children  stay operational, so that when this is all over, they have a place to go during the day where they will be loved and where they will learn.
