Help us keep Luna’s leg

[Message from Luna’s family: Luna is such a good dog who is so full of love and goofy energy. She does not at all deserve what happened to her nor what she is continuing to go through. From the day we rescued her as a little street puppy, she has shown us nothing but love and commitment. For that, we are doing everything we can to ensure she gets her surgery. Our hearts are breaking watching her go through this and hearing her whimpers throughout the night and day.]
Hello, my name is Luna and I am 2 years old. I live in North Carolina with my family and spend my days playing with my human baby sister and jetting around other doggies showing off my zoomies.
Last week, a car hit me while I was running away from an aggressive dog. My leg is badly broken and I’m in a lot of pain. Time is of the essence. My parents options are amputation or to pay to have special made plates and pins in my leg. We have a surgery date, but right now we don’t have enough to pay for it. The surgery is going to be $7.5k after all the special pieces are made for my leg. Medical bills so far have not been included in the surgery cost. My initial appointment was another $500. We’re also unsure of any additional post op therapy costs to come.
If you know me, you know how active I am and how much I love to run and jump. My moms heart is breaking watching me in pain each day. Any penny or share you could give would be amazing.
