Help us keep our food truck dream alive!

Hi! My name is Shauna Fetterman. In 2020 during the pandemic, I launched Girl’s Got Balls food truck company. The very beginning was hard to get out there with no food truck vehicle and operating under a tent. 1 year later, with the help and support of family and friends, I was able to purchase a food trailer. In 2022 I brought on Carrie Jones as partner. We went to participate as a team on Food Network’s Great Food Truck Race and even though our trip to Hollywood was short lived, we were happy to have had the experience. Though business was good after our short lived fame, we had minor problems with the trailer. In September 2022 our trailer caught on fire while serving an event. Luckily, the fire was extinguished quickly with minor damage and no one was hurt. The fire was caused by a valve that was cracked during transit which was leaking propane inside our trailer. We had to buy brand new fryers to be able to continue business. Over the season of 2023, Carrie and I agreed to have a rather light season so I could finish my education at Northwestern University. Since our season didn’t generate much revenue, we are now in a position where we are completely unsure if we will be able to have a next season. The fire marshal will not let us continue without an upgraded vent hood with ansul fire suppression system. Unfortunately those are not inexpensive in the least. We are hoping with the help of our fans, friends, and family, we will be able to raise enough funds to get this new vent hood installed and be able to open for the season. Thank you!!
