Help launch the Black Movie Hall of Fame!

The Black Movie Hall of Fame (BMHOF) will chronicle the history of black film, emphasizing individuals who made an impact on cinema in front of and behind the camera. The BMHOF will be housed at the Boone Theater in the historic Vine District of Kansas City, MO. It will be an immersive multi-media experience, combining video, virtual reality, and traditional exhibit spaces. In addition to the physical location, there will also be an online experience to allow people to engage 24/7/365.

The BMHOF will be designed to celebrate the past, present and future of black film and provide visitors with film series, lectures and concerts that focus on the history of black film.
