Help Us Lay Baby Gabriel to Rest & Raise SIDS Awareness

On January 9, 2025, God blessed us with the greatest gift, our beautiful baby boy, Gabriel Theodore Austin. He was born perfectly healthy, full of life, and surrounded by love. Becoming his mother was the most incredible feeling in the world, and everything we did was to give him the best life possible.

To create a better future for Gabriel, we moved from Florida to Georgia, ready to start a new chapter. Every day with him was a blessing, his tiny fingers wrapping around ours, his sweet little coos, and the way he looked at us with so much innocence and love. He was our everything.

But on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 5 a.m., our world shattered. During his early morning feeding, Gabriel was found unresponsive. We rushed him to the local hospital in Metter, GA, praying for a miracle. But there was nothing they could do. Our sweet boy was gone, taken from us without warning.

The doctors told us it was SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) an unexplained tragedy that can happen to any baby, with no signs, no suffering, and no way to prevent it. He would have been just shy of two months old.

The pain of losing Gabriel is unbearable. No parent should ever have to go through this heartbreak, and yet, here we are grieving, lost, and trying to find the strength to carry on without him. We are asking for help to cover the costs of his funeral and burial. Any donation, no matter how small, will help us give our son the peaceful rest he deserves.

In Gabriel’s honor, we also want to raise awareness about SIDS. No parent expects this to happen to them, and when it does, you search for answers blaming yourself, wondering what you could have done differently. The truth is, sometimes, there are no answers. Only God knows why He called Gabriel home so soon, but we will never stop loving him.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, your prayers, and your love. Even in our darkest time, we hold onto the love Gabriel brought into our lives, and we are grateful for any kindness you can offer.
