Help Us lay "Datdaddy" to rest

This fundraising effort has been organized by Tina, Erica, Bear, and Shannon to support the Comer family in honoring the life and legacy of Pastor Rodney Bernard "Datdaddy" Comer, Sr., a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and steadfast spiritual leader, who passed away on October 20, 2024.

Dad’s life has been marked by unwavering faith, even in the face of his severe medical struggles, including total heart and kidney failure. While we had prayed for healing through a heart and kidney transplant, God had another plan and called him home. As we navigate this time of deep grief, we are in need of financial assistance to cover the costs of funeral services and arrangements. As a Georgia resident of 20+ years, dad's wishes were to be celebrated here and laid to final rest in Indiana amidst his father, Uncle, beloved nephew and other family patriarchs.

Despite his conditions, dad's death was sudden and unexpected. He hadn't been hospitalized since spring and was even back to full time ministry work. Mom, who served as his primary caregiver during his health battles, has been working tirelessly to gather resources to sustain their living. Unfortunately we are without the financial means necessary to provide him with the funeral services he deserves.

We are reaching out to friends, family, and those who have been blessed by Pastor Rodney's ministry to ask for your support during this difficult time. Your generous contributions will help alleviate the financial burden and allow us to focus on celebrating his life and legacy.
