Help Us Lay Elton "Whoop" Johnson Jr. to Rest

My heart is heavy, I just lost a part of my soul. My son Elton Johnson Jr. was murdered last night in his driveway by some coward. He was struck down in the prime of his life. He was not perfect as none of us are, but he was trying to be the best person he could be in a difficult situation. He was simply trying to improve his life and recently got sole custody of two of his 6 children. He loved all of his children dearly and was involved in all of their lives. I’m so proud of how my son followed in my footsteps by stepping up to the plate and taking on the responsibility of raising two of his children by himself. He recently got a new job at a local hotel and was looking forward to what this new beginning would bring him and his family. This is a dark time for me and my family.
