Help Us Lay Mr. Emmanuel Rogers to Rest
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mr. Emmanuel Rogers, a devoted father, loving fiancé, caring brother, and a pillar in the music education community. Emmanuel tragically suffered a stroke and left us too soon.
As an assistant band director at Greenville High School in Greenville, MS, and Joseph S. Clark High School in New Orleans, Emmanuel touched countless lives. His kindness and dedication knew no bounds—he often purchased instruments, repaired drums, made uniforms, and fixed equipment out of his own pocket to ensure his students had the resources they needed to succeed. His legacy of selflessness and passion will live on through the many students he inspired.
Emmanuel leaves behind his fiancé, Tiquonna; his two beautiful children, Irie (6) and Gabriel (5), who is autistic; his sister Laurena; and his brother Steven. He was a wonderful father and a constant source of love and support for his family.
We are asking for your financial support to help raise $20,000 to cover Emmanuel’s funeral expenses and provide his family with some relief during this heartbreaking time. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference in helping us honor Emmanuel’s memory and give him the farewell he deserves.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers during this difficult
