Help us lay Grandma Anacorita to rest ️

Hello dear friends and family,
Our beloved mom, grandma, and great-grandmother, Anacorita Lawrence—better known as Grandma "Rita" (or Auntie)—has been battling diabetes and a heart condition for some time. On Christmas evening, Caesar found her at her care facility, shivering and running a high fever. After a courageous fight, she passed away peacefully in the early hours of New Year’s Day (01/01/25) at 2:45 AM, at the age of 78. While she had been doing well the week prior, Grandma Rita had recently spoken often about her sister Ely, and we believe she was ready to reunite with her.
Grandma Rita was deeply loved by so many, especially in Spring Valley and San Diego, where she became a mother and grandmother figure to everyone, especially on Grand Avenue, where she had lived for over 25 years. We ask for your prayers and any support to help with the cost of her funeral arrangements, the etching of her cremation niche, and the end-of-life ceremony, where we hope all who loved her can attend.
We know these times are difficult for many financially, spiritually, and emotionally, and we completely understand if you cannot contribute. If you are able to help, however, any assistance would mean the world to our family. Even if you're unable to donate, we would be grateful for your thoughts and prayers and hope you can join us to say goodbye to her wonderful soul.
More details about the services will be shared in the coming days. We love you all and hope you and your families are doing well.
