Help Us Lay James Abner to Rest

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you through this request that our loving father, grandfather and friend James Abner has made his transition to heaven. He lived a beautiful and full life with endless stories to tell. Unfortunately, this past Saturday, September 14th, he passed away at the age of 90 due to complications from a procedure he underwent just a couple days prior. He was a strong soldier all the way 'till the end and our family deeply misses him already. He knew this day was inevitable, so he made it a point to have all his affairs in order by paying off his burial policy. In spite of his preparations, his daughter Jenny, has been told that an investigation must be conducted by the insurance company due to it not having been 2 years since the policy was purchased. This investigation can take up to 30 days which will prevent us from laying him to rest in a timely manner. We are asking if anyone is able to donate whatever their heart desires to give our beloved grandfather the send off he so greatly deserves. Any contribution, big or small, is greatly appreciated.
