Help Us Lay Kevin Tipton to Rest

This past Saturday, my brother Kevin Tipton passed away unexpectedly while doing what he loved most — fishing with our brother Curt.

Kevin was the kind of man who loved God, loved people, and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He had a kind heart, a deep love for his dog Bella, and a quiet strength that touched everyone who knew him.

Kevin had been through so much in recent years. After losing everything in a devastating fire, he worked hard to rebuild his life, one step at a time. Things were finally starting to look up — he was getting back on his feet and finding hope again. None of us ever expected that he would leave us so soon.

Tragically, only hours after Kevin’s passing, our brother Curt was involved in a serious three-car accident and is now on life support. The pain of losing Kevin is unbearable, and not knowing if Curt will make it has left our family shaken to the core.

I made the trip from Oklahoma to California in just a day to be here. Emotionally, I am devastated. Financially, I am not prepared to take on the cost of Kevin’s funeral. That’s why I’m reaching out — not just as a sister in grief, but as someone who is asking for help to honor a man who truly deserves to be laid to rest with dignity.
