Help Us Lay Lucyna Polak to Rest
Donation protected
Our mother, Lucyna B. Polak, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away in her sleep on Saturday, September 14th, at 61 years old due to Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease. Our entire family has been extremely shell-shocked to the core by the loss, along with all of her friends, acquaintances, and previous employers that became family through the love my mom provided in the hard work she put in into all of her relationships with people.
Lucyna Polak was the most hardworking woman with the most strength and passion we have ever met, always cleaning, cooking, organizing, and working on something even when she wasn't working. Our mom spent her life in New York City after moving here with us, her sons, in 1992 from Poland, away from her own family, raising kids and showing love to different families who employed her to take care of their children. She would show them the same type of love she showed as when she was raising us. All the free time our mother has had the last 13 years she spent spending time with her only granddaughter and her two sons whom she loved with all of her heart. Our mother was always willing to give out Love and Care to anybody that came into her life. She was our everything. She was strongly opinionated and never backed down from her beliefs. When our father her only husband passed away due to cancer in 2020 and our mom became a widow she continued to show strength and love despite the circumstances. She was truly a SuperWoman, SuperMom, SuperWife, and SuperGrandma!
We are gathering funds for afterlife burial expenses in the Catholic Church as our family is Catholic. We are still in the process of organizing everything, and setting up dates but will try to tentatively set up a mass for September 23rd in Manhattan and will share that information once it’s set in stone. We appreciate any donation that can be made towards helping us put our mom at rest.
