On Saturday night our lives were changed forever. A beautiful flower, after spending only 21 years of life on this earth, was plucked from us. Mahogany was full of life, love, and happiness. She lit up every room she entered. With every encounter she left people with smiles on their faces. She was passionate and driven, only two months away from her CMA degree, but that opportunity was taken away from her in a senseless act of violence. Now her friends and family mourn her and must gather the strength, and finances to put her to rest. No parent should have to bury their child, especially as life was just beginning.
