With deep sadness in our hearts, but gratitude to God, we announce the passing of our son, brother, husband and father who left this world to a better place on Friday 14th June 2024.
“If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord” - Romans 14:8.
Nothing is promised in life except death, it is an inevitable journey. Though we are aware of this fact, the news of Opeyemi’s passing struck our hearts like a thunderbolt.
Opeyemi was a calm, intelligent, and affectionate young man. His beaming personality taught us how to live and love. He was a devout Christian, with an unwavering faith in God. Opeyemi’s life was a blessing to all who knew him, and his memory will remain an enduring treasure. As we navigate the tumultuous waves of grief, we find solace in the scripture; though he is absent from the body, he is present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).
This is an extremely difficult and painful time for the entire family. We pray for the courage and strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.
