Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Don Stewart, and I am the cousin of Ernest Pickett. I am writing to you today on behalf of his mother, my aunt, who is heartbroken and struggling to navigate the unimaginable pain of losing her son. On the night of Christmas, December 25, 2024, our family’s world was shattered when Ernest’s life was tragically taken from us far too soon. We are devastated by this sudden and senseless loss, and in this moment of grief, we are reaching out to you for support.

As many of you know, laying a loved one to rest is never easy, both emotionally and financially. Funeral expenses can quickly add up, and our family is struggling to cover the costs at a time when we should be focused on healing and supporting one another. Ernest was a beloved son, brother, and friend to many, and we want to honor his memory in the way he deserves, but we need your help to do so.

We are asking for donations to help us cover the funeral and memorial costs, including funeral services, burial fees, and any other expenses that arise during this difficult time.
