Help Us Lay Our Dad, David Bowen Sr., to Rest.
Donation protected
Please consider helping our family lay my Daddy to rest. After battling Small Cell Carcinoma for almost two years my dad has been called to his Heavenly home at only 46. Surrounded by family he said “I love all yall” and then went to be with the Lord within seconds on October 14, 2024 just before midnight. While he did not lose his battle this is one of the Bowen family’s greatest losses. Leaving behind his wife, four children with the youngest being four years old, his parents, brother, and three grandchildren. The life insurance policy for him has fallen through due to his illness unbeknownst to his family and we are no longer able to afford to make arrangements for a proper funeral. We'd like to be able to celebrate his life in a way he deserved so if you feel called to donate please do.
And if you can't donate at this time please share this fundraiser.
My dad didn't lose his battle with this aggressive cancer, he accomplished so much in these two years while fighting this battle and we are so proud of him. I'll miss you always and love you forever, Dad.
Update: we have laid my dad to rest with this support and the support from others in person. thank you all so much. This means the world to my siblings, grandparents, and his wife. Any other support sent to us will go to support his minor children: his autistic daughter Kathryn (4) in her therapies and Kaman (15) in his schooling other activities. Again, thank you all so much.
