Help us lay our mom Denise to rest

On January 25th we lost our beautiful mama Denise after a long struggle with a lung virus (MAC) that had finally taken its course. Anyone who knows her knew she was 100% disabled American Veteran on a fixed income and that is how she supported herself and those around her. We now need your help to lay her in her resting place and attend to her final affairs. She gets paid by the government and due to the fact that she passed before the beginning of a new month, her final check that was meant to cover everything, had to be returned. This has left my sister and I with our hands tied, as we weren’t financially ready to take all of this on. My mom never asked for help but she would take the shirt off of her back for anyone and I’ve seen it with my own eyes.

The funds will be used for her cremation (she is currently at Dodo Mortuary), travel expenses to get our little family and her back to Maine in June and finalizing her bills and rent for February.

We just want to get our mom to her resting place, celebrate her life with our family and clear up her final affairs so that we can start to heal and grow with our families. Every little bit can help and we are forever grateful. From our hearts to yours.
