Help us lay our mother Monica Sandoval to rest

Our dear mother, Monica Sandoval, lost her life on January 24th 2021, at the age of 61. She was in the hospital for three weeks on the ventilator and was battling with Covid Pneumonia as well as Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and her past disease called Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease which just made things worse and harder for her. She had several complications, her oxygen levels were critically low and her heart stopped twice. After three hard weeks and no improvement in her severely injured lungs, we had to make the hardest decision to disconnect her from the ventilator which was keeping her alive and she passed away peacefully in front of her family on a Zoom video call.
All her family and everyone that knows her are very devastated and in shock that Covid took her life. We were all hoping and praying for a miracle and that she would recover, but unfortunately that didn't happen. God had another plan for her and took her home to heaven.
She leaves behind 4 sons, 5 sisters, 1 brother, 7 grandkids and many more family and friends that are extremely saddened and hurt by her sudden death. She was such a great mother, sister, grandma, aunt, cousin, niece and person.
She was the most happiest person, always loving with the biggest heart. She was very motherly and family oriented. She was a proud grandma to her grandkids that will miss her so much. She always was willing to help anyone as much as she could especially us her four boys. She did everything for us always and was the worlds best mom. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She was very patient, nice, friendly and outgoing. You never saw her sad or mad, she always had the biggest smile on her face. Our mom was a very classy, beautiful woman. Another thing we will never forget about her is that she was always so happy and upbeat. She was the life of the party and a great dancer. Always looking at the bright side of life.
Due to the swift of events and unexpected circumstances, we would really appreciate any help that we can possibly get for our mother. Obviously as you all know, something like this is not planned and financially we were not ready for this. That's why i have created this go fund me for my mother Monica.
We are asking family and friends for financial help to help cover the funeral costs for our beloved mother Monica and to be able to lay her to rest. Any help is very appreciated, me and my family greatly appreciate and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Due to Covid, all mortuaries in San Diego and i'm sure all over are very busy and backed up due to people losing their life's from this horrible virus. We will have our mothers body cremated in February. We are going to hold her ashes in the meantime until the circumstances we are in get better. Also so we can gather enough money to be able to have her funeral services and burial at Greenwood Cemetery next to her mother, our dear grandma. Our hopes is that by then more family and friends can attend and join us in laying our mother to rest. That's how she would have wanted it to be, all her family together.
This is were any funds gathered here will go to:
Cremation: $2,800
Burial plot and services: $7,000
All funds will come to me, her son Jason, and i will make sure it all goes towards her funeral expenses.
We miss you and love you so much Monica Sandoval. Gone to soon. We will always keep you in our hearts and minds, and treasure all the memories. May you rest in peace mom.
Thank you so much!
