Help Us Lay Umeki to Rest

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Umeki Anthony. Umeki’s sudden passing has left a hole in our hearts, and we are reaching out to everyone for support during this incredibly difficult time.

Umeki fell ill while in Salt Lake City, Utah preparing for a minor heart procedure and gained her wings on October 27, 2024. Following her passing and a two-week delay, Umeki was finally transported back home to Texas. As we worked to honor her wishes, we were informed that the additional costs for her transportation would not be covered by the Veteran's Hospital.

As a loving mother, Umeki devoted her life to caring for her children. She inspired everyone who knew her — a woman of strength, kindness, and unwavering faith. She was a proud Navy veteran who served her country with honor and dedication. She was also a faithful member of her church.

We are humbly asking for donations to help cover the expenses related to laying our beloved mother to rest. Your generosity will ease the financial strain during this painful time and allow us to focus on celebrating her life and legacy.
