Help Us Lay Wilfredo Sevilla to Rest

With heavy hearts, we share the news that our beloved father, brother, friend, Wilfredo Sevilla passed away today after a long and courageous battle with end-stage renal disease. Over the past years, he endured countless complications, surgeries, and hospital stays, always fighting with immense strength and resilience. Despite suffering multiple strokes and losing much of his physical ability, he remained a fighter, giving us all hope and inspiration.

At one point, the doctors gave him just two weeks, but his will to live kept him going far beyond their expectations. He was briefly placed on hospice care, but even then, he fought so hard that he was taken off, despite his declining health.

Our father was not just a warrior in his health battles; he was also our family’s rock. He worked tirelessly as the sole provider for us, and now, in the wake of his passing, we are left with a deep emotional and financial burden.

In his final wishes, our father asked to be laid to rest in El Salvador, the place he called home for much of his life. We are committed to honoring this wish, but transporting him and covering the associated costs has added a significant financial strain.

We are raising funds to cover the medical expenses, memorial services, and the costs of transporting our father to El Salvador so we can give him the burial he desired. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us honor his final wishes and ease the financial burden as we navigate this painful chapter.
