Help us, Maher and my family to leave Gaza to Belgium

My name is Maher Fathi Shaaban, I am 22 years old from Gaza, and I live in Rafah City.

I used to live a happy life. I was a football player at Rafah Services Sports Club, and I had a dream of traveling abroad to play professionally in European clubs.

But this war came and destroyed everything beautiful in Gaza. Every moment we hear the explosion of a house and the death of innocent people.

We cannot sleep, and even the prices of goods, if available, are very expensive. We cannot even live a simple life.

But what happened was worse when a house next to ours was bombed and parts of our house were destroyed.

That's when I stopped thinking and wanted to save myself and my family. I am their only hope.

My father is Fathi Ibrahim Shaaban, 68 years old.

And my mother is Rabaah Mohamed Shaaban, 65 years old.

I want to take them out of Rafah to Belgium, but the crossing fees from the Egyptian crossing are very high. It costs $5,000 per person.

I never imagined that I would need to write my story to ask for your help. Your help can save my family.

I need to travel as soon as possible to take my father and mother for treatment abroad in the same country where my fiancée is waiting for me so that we can meet together.

The money that will be collected will be for:

1- The cost of leaving the crossing for 3 people.

2- We will need food, drinks, and shelter.

3- And to the prices of travel tickets.

The day will come when I will return your favor.
