Help us make a film about God’s Waiting Room

Donation protected

Logline:
A man finds himself in an unforeseen middle space between life and afterlife, God’s waiting room. Can he defend his life decisions and make it to whatever comes next?

Synopsis:
When Charlie wakes up in a strange room, across the table from a strange man, he’s told he’s in a waiting room for heaven or hell. When the man reveals himself to be God, it’s up to Charlie to convince him that his life was good and he is worthy of heaven. As his case for redemption proceeds, the hidden truths begin to unravel, and it becomes clear the situation isn’t as simple as we thought. Waiting Room asks the audience: Do we know as much as we believe?

Why We Believe in this Film:
We believe the best films are the ones that make you think and double-take, movies that you can’t get out of your head. Stories that are so infectious that they inspire further creation and discussion. The original concept for Waiting Room came from Finn’s experience working on the set of such films, and we believe Waiting Room can be that for others.
Waiting Room deals with specifics. Specific questions: what happens after we die? Who decides whether something is good or bad? It’s a film that questions the moral ambiguity of modern life.

Waiting Room is a story that captivates the imagination, and with your help, we can bring this film to life.
