Help Us Make Cancer Treatment Easier

The Eddie Laster Memorial Car Show is an annual event that I started in 2019 in honor of my grandfather, Eddie Laster, who passed away from cancer. The car show serves as a fundraiser for our local Cancer Center, which provides essential care and comfort to patients undergoing treatment.

The funds raised go directly toward purchasing items like snacks, blankets, and other comforting essentials to help make patients’ treatment experiences a little easier throughout the year. These items may seem small, but they provide a sense of care and warmth to those battling cancer, reminding them that their community supports them.

This year, the 6th annual car show will be held at a bigger venue, The Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center in Abingdon, VA, on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The event includes vendors, food trucks, and, of course, plenty of amazing cars.
