For those that dont know us: We are Gabriel, my fiance Lauren and our 2 year old son Beni.
We currently live in San Antonio, Texas and have just received an amazing opportunity to live in Costa Rica to do the two things we love most which is help others and experience new cultures with our family.
We are professional chefs by trade and will be using our cooking skills to help nourish and educate people on eating a healthy well balanced diet to help heal and transform themselves, as we have done. After many years in the restaurant business, and living a very unhealthy lifestyle, we decided to take action and change our diets, our bodies, and ultimately, our lives. As a recovering alcoholic ( 9 months sober), I have battled my addiction for nearly 15 years and now that I have finally broken free of those shackles and taken control of my life, its my mission to use my experience to help others at a holistic healing center in the Central Valley. Lauren has also long suffered chronic lower body issues which after many years of seeing specialists and experts with no results, she has overcome much of her pain and limited mobility through holistic treatments and she wishes to share her story and inspire others.
We are also very passionate about showing our son the majesty of the world and all of the amazing places it has to offer. We hope that this will be a jumping off point to begin to live the lives we have always dreamed of!
Although this opportunity is a blessing, it was unexpected and we have a limited amount of savings for the move. Any help that you can give at all will be greatly appreciated and warmly received. We vow to pay forward any kindness that is extended to us and please know that we are extremely grateful for any support or donations you are willing to contribute. We are hoping to meet our goal by August 15th before the move, but every bit helps.
