Help us mow more lawns for Elderly, Veterans, etc

A follow-up from our original GoFundMe  which helped successfully create the 501(c)(3) and build this platform. Raising money to benefit I Want To Mow Your Lawn Inc. overall operations and growth -- any donation will help make a tangible impact!

I Want To Mow Your Lawn Inc. provides Essential Lawn Services for Elderly, Military Veterans, Disabled and Others In Need — through its network of helpers — while encouraging the use of electric battery powered equipment, whenever possible. A socially distant service created at the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic went viral - no pun intended! 2 years later through our platform, we've helped over 500 lawns, now with over 200 volunteers enlisted across 40 states. Growing pains! It’s been blood, sweat, tears and extreme episodes of poison ivy (includes prednisone shots!) to get the charity to where it is today in a short period of time. Even though the pandemic is nearing the end there is always a need and we are just trying to facilitate more meaningful connections.

 

We’ve reached a pivotal #mowment and asking our followers for help in furthering our mission and keeping the #mowmentum going. Insurance coverage for volunteers, virtual assistants to help with clients and volunteers, volunteer equipment upgrades, gas cards, website technology, internet costs, advertising and other professional services. Everything has been reinvested back into the organization. Not a single dime taken by the founder.

 

Full Transparency: We only have about $1,500 left in the business bank account and have no choice but to sunset the organization if we can’t keep the ‘lights on.’ 6k fundraising goal should get us to the fall of 2022 at bare bones, anything over that amount will continue to be reinvested with a focus on scaling.
