Who are We?

We are Mona Poor-Olschafskie and Christian Perkins. We are both veterans of the NYC food and beverage scene, with 10 years each of experience in the area. We have worked at restaurants and bars including Torrisi Italian Specialties, Diner, Marlow and Sons, Annicka, Threes Brewing, Other Half Brewing and Folksbier Brauerie. We have opened several restaurants for other people, and we are now opening our very own restaurant with full ownership. We are very passionate about bars and restaurants, and we truly believe that our neighborhood in Greenpoint in particular needs more vibrant restaurants to serve its community.

Why should you invest in us?

We want to set down roots in our community with a space that benefits the people within it.

We want to be the place you go to on a first date, a casual dinner or a special family get-together.

The name “Fin du Monde” is influenced by the idea of a space that makes you feel at home; a place where you feel comfortable to stay in and let time melt away; a place that feels separate from the bustle of the city outside. We want our space to be approachable and welcoming; a place to linger and cozy up in a booth or perch at the bar all night.

We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community to get us to this point. We still need your help to reach our goal to open!

Tier 1 - $50 and under.

Free drink on your first visit.

Tier 2 - $100 to $500

Invite to friends & family dinner, where guests get to sample our opening menu for free.

Tier 3 - $500 to $1000

Free full meal for you and up to 3 guests on your first visit.

Tier 4 - $1000 and up

A membership in our Gold Club, where every investor will get a personal coaster designed by Mona, stashed behind the bar and ready for you every time you visit, along with a free drink of your choice on each visit, for life.
