Help us pay Bella`s vet bill

Surrendered to SDRR very recently is this gorgeous 3yr old little French bulldog named Bella.

We were told she was in good health with no known medical issues and although looked very underweight (7.5kg) and with an obvious ear issue we believed she would be able to be rehomed swiftly.

Bella is currently in a Foster home and things soon became obvious to her Foster mum that Bella's short life may not have been a happy one.

Bella doesn't seem to know what grass is as she just stares at it and makes no attempt to walk or lay on it meaning she may have never seen grass before.

When Bella is fed she shortly after vomits all her food back up.

Bella gets extremely excited when the Foster mum comes home but once the initial "welcome home" is done she goes and lays in her comfortable bed looking very sad and depressed.

Bella's Foster mum has taken her to the vet, concerned with these few obvious issues and the report is not good, the vets have stated that she has been bred multiple times, her ear (which looks as if she has had it bitten off at some point) has been caused by an untreated ear infection which has slowly left the ear to die, she has very poor breathing issues and there is a clear eye issue which the vet has said may be contributing to her breathing issues as the eye is infected.

There is also a suspected hernia which will be investigated too.

Sadly overnight, Bella's eye ruptured as there had been an untreated tumour behind it and she has had to have it removed, the vets are now trying desperately to save her other eye and if they can she will forever be on permanent eye drops along with permanent ear drops.

Bella has against all the odds survived the surgery for the eye removal but is not out of the woods yet, she will need to undergo further surgery to help aid her breathing, she has fluid in the lungs which is why she keeps vomiting her food back up, she will be spayed so that she cannot ever be used as a breeding machine again.

Bella is fighting for survival here through no fault of her own and we so desperately want to give her a fighting chance, her vet bills currently stand at £5000 and we are asking if you could find it in your hearts to dig down deep and donate towards helping Bella survive and find a loving forever home.
