Help us pay for Beau’s medical bills

Hi my name’s Anika and I’m trying to raise some money for my family’s cat. My sister, Amillia, adopted him when she was volunteering at a shelter for rehoming stray cats when we were still in grade school.

He’s really become a part of the family after 7-8 years of being together and we really wouldn’t be the same without him. We’ve known he’s sick for a while now but with every visit to the vet, we were continuously given inconclusive results to why he was getting thinner and thinner, and increasingly reluctant to eat. The vet bills started wracking up with my sister paying the brunt of it all, but now with the visit to the vet hospital, they’re now saying he needs a blood transfusion to proceed as he has an extremely low red blood cell count. That alone may cost us $5000-9000 out of pocket which we don’t have. Only then can they find what’s wrong with him, and then may need to operate depending on what the issue may be, which may cost us significantly more. Every penny will go to Beau’s vet bills, and in the unlikely case there is a surplus, we will donate it right back to shelter that we adopted him from.

Beau is kind of the glue that holds my family together. Even when we are all upset with each other or in disagreements, we always make sure to communicate he’s fed and taken care of and that he’s been let out to the balcony to people watch and gaze at his cat friends that come from around the neighborhood to stare back at him.

Genuinely, anything would help us deal with the costs. We will be forever grateful to you to be able to help our little fluffy boy.
