Help Us Pay Incarcerated Artists & Writers

Hi there! This is the team from Clothing Inside –a newsletter focused on the ways that clothing is used within, by, and on account of prisons in the United States. 

Here at Clothing Inside we work with a number of formerly incarcerated artists and writers to inform our research and storytelling impact. Our wish is not only to provide you all with informed first-hand knowledge on the issues but to also provide a space and a platform for those who have been impacted by the justice system. With that said, we at C.I. are aware of the way that the justice system has taken more from those serving time than us on the outside realize - from their lives to actual labor - and we don't wish to play a part in this cruel cycle of taking from our creatives without adequately compensating them.
