Help us pay our bills while our baby has surgery.

Hi, my name is kadie and we are trying to raise money to help cover our bills for the month of November while our daughter Violet undergoes surgery on her head and skull. We feel very vulnerable putting this out here but we know we need all the help we can get as we will be out of work for a few weeks in November spending our time at Shands Children’s Hospital.

Our daughter was born with a birth defect called bilateral craniosynostosis. This occurs when one or more of the sutures in their skull closes early. Early suture closure can cause the skull to grow in an unusual shape and can also restrict overall skull growth which may be harmful to the brain inside which is trying to grow. This is something we could have never been prepared for and has crushed our hearts worrying about her since the day she was born. We have kept this very private because it has been impossible to come to terms with. As the time gets closer and closer we find ourselves realizing we need to tell others to get all the support we can, physically and mentally. If you are able to donate, it will help more than you can imagine. If not positive energy and good thoughts go far too.
