Help us pay our veterinary bills

Josie's Misfit Ranch saves animals others won't ... misfits in need of expensive medical care or behavior issues that require work with a trainer. We have taken in several animals in need that without us, may not have received the help they need, including:

SADIE: Saved from a dirty pickup truck where she lived with a homeless man and five other dogs, this 13 year old had been overbred so that her owner could make money from the puppies. She had to be spayed, as well as have several mammary tumors removed. She would have most likely been euthanized if we hand'nt taken her in. Two surgeries later, she is completely healthy and has a pep in her step.

CJ: This 3 year old pitbull was found as a stray with severe arthritis caused by injuries that never received medical attention, including a bullet wound. He can only walk with metal braces on his front legs, and even then it's difficult. We are in the process of getting a consult from WSU to see if there are surgical solutions to make this happy boy more mobile.

ROSCO: This little terrier mix was found filthy and scared wandering the countryside. We believe he suffers from dwarfism, as his limbs are bowed. He also has an underbite and crossed eyes which adds to his charm. He needed medical attention and was neutered and is now living a much easier life at a foster home.

KEVIN: Kevin is a beautiful orange cat that came to us not eating, in pain and super skinny. We found he had severe dental disease, and he had to have three surgeries to have his teeth removed to get him eating and loving life again. He is now doing very well and is no longer in pain.

STELLA: Stella is a beautiful long haired black kitty who was losing her hair and losing weight. We found she had a UTI as well as a thyroid condition that we are now treating her for. She is so happy to be doing better!
