Help Us Place Dianne to Rest with Love

Cliff notes: My lovely aunt passed unexpectedly and we need to come up with nearly $3,000 for the opening/closing of her gravesite, the engraving on her headstone, and the vault for her ashes.

For those of you who may not know, my name is Amber and I am the niece of the wonderful lady in the photo here. Her name was Dianne and she was the second oldest of THIRTEEN children. At 71 years old and otherwise healthy, she had to go in for open-heart surgery. The surgeons were only able to complete 2/3 of the procedure they had originally planned on, but that isn’t the unexpected part. Although they told us she did well with the surgery and the first few days seemed fine except for some expected pain, she ended up with pneumonia that really knocked her off her feet. After her breathing progressively declined, she ended up needing to be placed on a ventilator with her permission and her body got worse from there. Her other systems started shutting down as well and her body did not respond to any of the interventions the physicians tried. I will attach her obituary below for anyone who would like to see it. Now, she does have 2 children, but her son is not in the best of health and her daughter has a large family of her own. Neither are in the best financial situation. She did not have life insurance but none of us expected her to pass so soon. We have received funding to get her cremated and have her ashes, but would love nothing more than to put them in the plot she bought all those years ago when her husband passed away so we can fulfill her afterlife plan of being placed next to him.
