Help Us Prepare for Andrew Hudson's Final Farewell

My name is Elexis Hudson, and I am the eldest daughter of Andrew Hudson. On December 6th, 2024, my father suffered a traumatic brain injury and was placed on life support. After a long and agonizing waiting period, today, December 12th, we were heartbroken to learn that my father has been pronounced dead. While we are still processing the loss of such an incredible man, we are also finding comfort in knowing that my father’s legacy will live on in the lives he can still save.

As an organ donor, my father’s passing will allow him to give the gift of life to others in need. His decision to be an organ donor is something our family will take great pride in, knowing that his generosity will help save many lives. Though we are devastated by the loss, we find peace in the knowledge that his legacy will continue through those he helps.

Our family is still reeling from this unimaginable loss. Along with my mother, Whitney Shackleford, my brother Exzavier, and my two sisters, Emielee and Zeplyn, we are doing everything we can to navigate through this painful time. Unfortunately, the financial burden of my father’s funeral and memorial services is something we are not prepared for.

We are reaching out to ask for help to cover these unexpected expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward giving my father the dignified service he deserves. Andrew was a loving father, a devoted husband, a loving grandfather, a loyal friend, and a selfless person who always put others first. We want to honor his life and memory in the best way possible.

A service will be held for family and close friends on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 4:00pm at Westphal Baptist Church, 780 Westphal Ave, Whitehall, Ohio 43213.
