At Linh Son Temple in Houston, TX, we are more than just a place of worship. We are a community that nurtures the hearts and minds of the next generation, instilling in them the teachings of Buddhism and empowering them to serve others with kindness, compassion, and respect. Our mission is simple yet profound: to raise young people who are not only strong in their faith but also committed to making the world a better place.

Every Sunday, our temple is filled with the laughter and energy of about 150 boys and girls, ages 5 to 18. From 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, they come to learn about Dharma, study Vietnamese language and culture, and take part in activities that teach them to live by the core values of Buddhism: love, respect, honesty, and service to others. We work hard to help them grow into individuals who understand the importance of being responsible, compassionate, and environmentally conscious.

Even during the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, our dedicated volunteers continued to meet with the youth, ensuring that our mission was never interrupted. The strength of our community has kept us going through tough times, but today, we face an urgent crisis.

Our beloved temple, which has served our community for over 30 years, is in desperate need of repairs. The roof and structure have sustained significant damage, and without immediate action, the space that has nurtured so many young lives will no longer be safe. We need to raise $60,000 to $70,000 to repair the building and continue our vital work.
