The campaign is complete. Thank you for your support. For more information, please visit the Alice Greene website.
Help us publish Steve Leggett’s new poetry chapbook, For All Things in Motion. Steve’s collection is a much needed balm: tender and intimate vignettes set between winter and spring. For any contribution of $16 ($26 for international) and above, we will send you a copy of the chapbook with our thanks (we’re hoping by early December).

Stephen Leggett grew up in Manistee on the shores of Lake Michigan, a region with a geography of snow, wind, and waves that has continually informed his writing. He has published several chapbooks of poetry, including The All-Forest (1979), The Form It Takes (1988), and Entropy in the New World (2016). His poems have appeared in The Nation, The Louisville Review, Passages North and many other magazines and journals. Also a songwriter and musician, he has released six albums with his band the Buzzrats, the most recent being Bright Shiny Life in 2011.
Alice Greene & Co. is an independent press based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We strive to create beautiful and intimate poetry books that focus on the environment and sense of place. The “& Co.” expresses the many collaborators and helpers who contribute their efforts and works to make the books as excellent and special as possible: editors, book designers, illustrators, photographers, artists, technology wizards.
The primary goal of this fundraiser is to finance the printing. We plan to send the finished files to the printer by mid/late-November and hope to have books in hand in early December, at which point supporters will receive their copies, and the chapbook will be for sale to the public.
If we raise money beyond the cost of printing, we would use that to help pay our collaborators. Should we be so fortunate to raise even more money, that will make it easier for us to work on books for emerging authors, as well as paying for expenses such as the website and publishing software.
