What is the story about?

Nik, an over-worked animator, and his close friend, Ana, an OCD screenwriter, have an amazing idea for an animated short film, “PETEY,” with the infamous tagline, “DON’T F**K WITH PETEY.”

Their campaign to raise $5,000 to finish the film seems to be doomed until a mysterious benefactor, Mr. Woxx, donates $5,000. Nik soon realizes that accepting money from Mr. Woxx comes with serious consequences and Woxx starts to threaten Nik using supernatural powers.

Meanwhile, another mysterious man, Foster, enters Ana's life and their relationship soon turns romantic. As Nik battles with Woxx's supernatural powers that cause Nik to hurt himself, he seeks to find out more about Woxx. Soon, all evidence hints that Foster has something to do with Mr. Woxx…

Main Cast:

Jasmeet Baduwalia -- as Nik Mata -- From a very young age, Jasmeet Baduwalia knew that he wanted to be an entertainer. He started acting and modeling when he was 13 years old. After being accepted into Take 2 Performers Studio in Reno, NV, he felt it was finally time to prove himself and make his dream a reality. In 2013, Jasmeet competed in a Talent competition named "IMTA," where he went on to sign with Momentum Talent Agency. Since then, he has co-starred in TV shows and feature films such as Days of Our Lives, Power Rangers Beast Morphers, and Carp-e Diem.

Krystal Lynn -- as Ana Hausen -- Krystal Lynn is an actress and a multimedia artist. Krystal received training at Tru Talent Agency and Take 2 Performers Studios that landed her a lead role in feature film Final Girl: Halloween. As a spoken word poet, she’s also had training on stage for slam and immersive art through Spoken Views Collective and The Potentialist Workshop. She completed the launch of her first poetry book, The Discovery of Magic in 2022. Krystal is best known for feature films Final Girl: Halloween (slated for October 2023 release) and Target List, as well as a short film Mischief Night.

Filmmakers:

MJ Palo -- Director, Screenwriter, Producer -- MJ is an award-winning screenwriter, director and producer. After working as a screenwriter and script consultant for nearly a decade, she started River Rose Productions in 2019 and started collaborating with Mad Wife Productions in 2020. MJ is best known for feature films Target List, Carp-e Diem , Baby Money and Final Girl: Halloween.

Andrew Arguello -- Director, Cinematographer, Editor -- Andrew started his career at 18 working for the Walt Disney Company and soon after found his passion for cinematography. After returning to Reno, Andrew started Reno Tahoe Graphics, a commercial videography company, in 2015 and officially launched Mad Wife Productions in 2020 to handle narrative productions. Andrew is best known for feature films Target List, Carp-e Diem , Desert Shadows and Final Girl: Halloween, as well as TV show Rennervations starring Jeremy Renner.

Jared Lamp -- Screenwriter, Director of Animation -- Born in Dallas, Texas, Jared Lamp has been writing and drawing as long as he can remember. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Arts and Animation, he began work in 2014 illustrating Man Vs. Rock, a satirical action spoof comic series that soon became an underground hit. Since then, he has been a writer and an assistant director for several short live-action and animated films. His screenplay Nidstang was the winner of Reno-Tahoe Screenplay Contest in 2021
