Help Us Produce PPE Face Shields

HELP US FABRICATE FACE SHIELDS FOR DONATION TO HEALTHCARE WORKERS, FIRST RESPONDERS, AND ESSENTIAL STAFF!

Hi Friends. Oxbow Design Build has recognized the shortage of personal protective equipment available to workers on the frontlines in the fight against COVID-19, and wants to do something about it. We've been using our creative resources and fabrication shop to design and assemble face shields for donation to those in need, and we need your help to broaden our impact. Your donation will help us cover the cost of acquiring and processing materials, and distributing them to the organizations that need them. So far, we've distributed face shields to Valley Medical Group, Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Holyoke Soldiers' Home, Vinfen, the Food Bank of Western MA, and more!

"On behalf of the staff and practitioners at Valley Medical Group, we are enormously grateful for the donation of face shields.  These shields have been provided to clinical staff who are caring for patients in one of our four health centers, Amherst, Greenfield, Easthampton and Northampton. Although the majority of the care we are providing at this time is by video and/or telephone, there are patients who must be seen in the health center, due to their medical concern, complexity of care to be provided, respiratory symptoms with concern for COVID-19.  The face shields provide protection to the care team to safely provide care to patients.  The care team includes nurses, medical assistants, practitioners, lab staff, radiology staff and more.  We all are very grateful for your generous donation.  Valley Medical Group provides care for over 55,000 patients in the valley and your donation supports the ability to do this safely in the presence of COVID-19."
