Help us protect Australia's arts and culture

Save Our Arts (SOA) comes at a critical time for Australian arts and culture. As global AI and streaming companies are looking to replace Australian creatives and high quality content with generic, AI slop, we need Australian political leaders to protect and advance it.

SOA is fighting for local content quotas and levies, for 200 Creative Fellowships every year, for a standalone AI Act to protect creatives, for a $5bn cultural infrastructure fund, for Australian shows, music, and books to be discoverable on streaming services, an extension of production offsets to the music and live theatre sector, and for a translation fund to promote our work in non-English speaking countries.
