Help Us Protect the Heroes

We are Open Source COVID19 Medical Supplies - Southern WV,  a group of 3d print hobbyists based in Fayetteville, WV who've been printing face shields to donate to medical facilities and county health departments in southern West Virginia. To date, we've been asked to produce 510 of these face shields to meet the needs of the health care professionals in our area in a little over a week. There is still an urgent need for more in our area and across the nation.

Up to this point, we've been donating our materials, printers, and time to make what has been requested but we're running out of the filament used to make the frames and the face shields themselves. We want to keep supporting the heroes on the frontlines with the medical equipment to keep them as safe as possible.

I know this is a tough time for all of us but if we were to meet our fundraising goal we'd be able to produce thousands of face shields to distribute to the folks who need them. Please help us to keep protecting the heroes who put their lives on the line to help others! Any filament remaining when this is over will be donated to the local public schools for their STEM work with 3d printing. Thank you!
