About PlanetTherapy

PlanetTherapy is a non-profit organisation registered in Spain, dedicated to providing free emotional support to Jewish communities affected by recent events. Our mission is to create a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can find solace, understanding, and professional guidance.

Our Global Network

What began as the vision of two Israeli women in Spain has blossomed into a worldwide initiative. Today, over 200 professional therapists from 35 countries volunteer their time, offering support in 22 languages. This diverse network ensures that cultural nuances are respected, and language is no barrier to receiving care.

Accessible Support

To ensure accessibility, we offer each individual six free therapy sessions. After these sessions, continued support is available for a nominal fee of €25 per session. This structure ensures that high-quality emotional care remains within reach for everyone in need.

Tax Deductibility of Donations

PlanetTherapy is a registered non-profit organisation in Spain. Donations are tax-deductible in Spain, the United States, and Israel, subject to each country’s tax regulations:

• United States: Under the United States–Israel income tax treaty, contributions to Israeli charities are deductible if the organisation qualifies as a charitable organisation under U.S. law and the donor has income from Israeli sources.

• Israel: Donations to recognised public institutions entitle the taxpayer to a tax credit of 35%, provided the donations meet certain conditions.

• United Kingdom: As of April 2024, due to recent changes in UK tax law, donations to non-UK charities, including those within the EU and EEA, are no longer eligible for UK tax reliefs. Therefore, contributions to PlanetTherapy are not tax-deductible for UK taxpayers.
