Help us purchase a refrigeration truck

Tax deductible

We have been a member agent of the Dayton Foodbank for more than a decade, partnering with Vineyard Church, Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, Fairborn First Church of Christ, Fairborn YMCA, and numerous other organizations (such as CareSource, MTSI/Modern Technology Solutions Inc., etc.) and an army of volunteers who give so generously of their time.

For us to provide fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, meats, and baked goods, we need to be able to keep everything refrigerated (and/or frozen) from the day we pick it up at the Foodbank until the Saturdays when we do the outreaches. In addition to cold storage, we need to be able to transport six to eight or more skids of food, bags of groceries, rolling shelves, tables, signage, carts, etc.

We have been renting a refrigeration truck at the cost of $1,000 per rental (depending on who may have one available, if any.)

It is a 2015 International 4000, 26' refrigeration box truck with 193,000 miles. We know the seller and the truck has been well-maintained. (This is a VERY good deal!)

Every dollar donated will go directly toward the purchase of the tuck. No salaries, no administrative costs, etc.

FULL DISCLOSURE: Some contributions ($5,000+) have been given via Vineyard Church that announced this fundraising effort.

Thank you for your support!
