Help us purchase the Old Nick's Building

Our building at Old Nick's Pub has officially gone on the market!

This is genuinely wonderful news, since for over a decade we have planned to purchase this wonderful historic landmark, but have been unable since it wasn't available.

We have had some large private donors lined up for a while, but may need community support to get across that final threshold.

I love this building. When I got the keys the year after my second cancer treatment, it was a dusty storage shed filled with ghosts of what it once was. We spent $250,000 renovating it into what you enjoy today. I have bled for it, I have cried for it, I have poured my soul and my money into it. I am beyond overjoyed at the opportunity to be able to purchase it.

For a decade Old Nick's has stood as a foundation for arts and culture in our community. We have been a shield against hate, a home for the homeless, a warm place from the cold for many. A theatre, a music venue, and just a pub where you can always feel welcome and safe.

Your donation helps us secure this building so that we may continue our mission in this space for decades to come!

We would like to make a special "Founding Patrons" club for anyone who can donate certain price levels. More on that to come! For now we have been urged to get the link live - so here it is!

If in the event we are outbid for our building or we don't purchase it, all funds will be used to either work on some projects in the building (if we continue to rent it) or move to a new location.
