Help us quickly run out of time to survive

My name is Amal Shaheen from Gaza Strip. I am 28 years old, married, and I have a daughter named Rasail. My husband is unemployed. Suddenly, overnight, our lives were turned upside down. All our dreams and lives vanished without warning. Life suddenly stopped spinning. Here in Gaza, no words can describe what we are living. No life, no food, no water, no clothes, no education, no shelter, no health, no cleanliness, no justice, and no human dignity. Here in Gaza, there is only poverty, hunger, pollution, filth, destruction, humiliation, insult, ignorance, homelessness, and fear. We live every second imagining death and expecting it to happen. We spend all our time thinking about who will collect our remains, whether we will be buried or left under the rubble to be devoured by animals. I think about how to protect my daughter from this, imagining what will happen if I lose her or if she loses me or her father, and how she will live as an orphan. Our dream has become that if we die, we die together and that someone finds us to bury our bodies, or we will remain to be eaten by animals. We wish for death from the horror of what we see and live through. I had a beautiful home with my daughter; now, our situation has changed. The house is gone, and we are moving from city to city, seeking safety, tasting the bitterness of winter's cold and summer's heat in the tents. I cannot describe the situation: diseases we had never heard of, insects and reptiles we see for the first time
coming out at us while we sleep, shared bathrooms with dozens of families, no cleanliness, no gas, no food, and no money to buy food. There is no life for children here, and even we, as women, do not have our basic needs met. We have been living on canned food for months, suffering from diseases because of it. We have nothing else to stave off our hunger. My daughter has lost half her weight due to lack of food and not accepting canned food. We had dreams and ambitions, all destroyed. I was pursuing a university education, struggling as a married woman and a mother to achieve excellent grades in hopes of a better life for my daughter and me and securing a job to ensure our lives and a better future. But the university was destroyed, along with my dream and hard work over the past three years. My daughter is six years old, supposed to start her first school year, but there are no schools and no education, only illiteracy and ignorance. I do not want my daughter to drown in a sea of ignorance and backwardness amid all these developments. We do not have the money to buy the simplest necessities for my daughter. When she asks for something and I cannot provide it, I wish for death for bringing her into this unjust life. Please stand with us. I want to provide a decent life, not for me, but for my daughter. Above all, a life that provides her with the simplest needs of safety, shelter, food, drink, cleanliness, and clothing without diseases and pollution. I do not ask for luxury, just the basic things. Gaza is no longer suitable for human life. Please, contribute with us to save us from this death. Help us leave Gaza and start a new life with the simplest necessities. Help us quickly; the more time passes, the higher our chances of death and not surviving. Every minute that passes, we could be the next bodies and victims. We want to escape this deadly nightmare with your help and support. My daughter, my husband, and I hope for your support. One dollar can help save us from this inferno. We love you very much and await your support for us.
