Help me Race Ironman World Champs Hawaii
Donation protected
My name is Megan Hale, and I am a blind Triathlete. I have been given the opportunity to race in Ironman’s Women’s World Championship in Hawaii this fall. An Ironman consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile run, all of which must be completed in 17 hours. This is my second year of competing within the triathlete world and it is my goal to bring awareness and educate the community on participants with disabilities. I do not want to limit myself to participants with disabilities in the triathlon communities, but with the entirety of the sporting community. In order to progress my goal and dedication on educating others, I am beginning to bring attention within the community that I am a part of. I am reaching out to you to ask if you are interested in assisting me in taking this motion by sponsoring me for my upcoming race to Hawaii? With an opportunity of competing in the Ironman World Championships, it is an opportunity to stretch my message internationally, furthering the advancement of recognition to athletes with disabilities.
