We are raising funds in light of the horrific public health crisis facing our nation right now--specifically, gun violence in our schools, streets, and places of worship. This is hardly a new issue in America, but it is our sincere hope that in the wake of the 250+ mass shootings in our country during this calendar year alone, regular citizens might be able to join the fight to reduce the incidence of gun violence and to secure a safer, more compassionate future for our children. And while we realize it is easy to become demoralized and cynical about our ability as a nation to come together on some of these issues, we are confident that TOGETHER we will be able to be agents of meaningful change.

 

Your donation to Everytown for Gun Safety, the largest gun violence prevention organization in America, will be used to support ongoing efforts to:

 

We want to emphasize, this is a non-partisan issue. This is a community-focused public health and safety issue, and it is critical that people from across the political spectrum join together in support of rational, compassionate, evidence-based policy changes to protect our children and fellow citizens across all fifty states.

 

We realize that many of you have already contributed your time and money to similar organizations or fundraising efforts, but we hope you will consider participating in our fundraiser as well. Money in and of itself is not sufficient to solve these complex social-political issues, but we are confident that financial resources in the hands of thoughtful, experienced, tenacious gun safety advocates can indeed make a difference.
