Help us raise funds for Sandra’s funeral

On 22nd March, our dear friend Sandra passed away unexpectedly after a rapid and heartbreaking decline from breast cancer, lung cancer, and multiple tumours. Just two months ago, doctors gave her five years to live. No one could have imagined that her time would be cut so short.

On Saturday, she started experiencing changes in consciousness and dangerously low blood pressure. She went to Grafton Base Hospital, where she was left in triage for almost two hours - without even being assessed by a triage nurse (even after producing proof of her oncology card and advanced needs) at that point she decided to go home as she couldn’t handle the discomfort and unmanaged symptoms any more. That night, she tragically passed away.

Because her passing was so sudden, her family is now facing unexpected funeral costs on top of their immense grief. They simply don’t have the funds to give her the farewell she deserves.
