Help us raise money for a Cranial Helmet

Quinn was born prematurely at 30weeks gestation where he spent 6 weeks in the NICU unit.

Quinn had 3 bleeds on the brain a Grade 1 , Grade 2 and Grade 3. These thankfully turned into swelling and have been getting monitored since coming home from hospital

Unfortunately Quinn now has an extremely flat head which is causing us as parents concern aswell as the NHS. ( positional plagiocephaly )

He has already had urgent scans done today 24/05/24 to see the full extent of whats actually going on inside as a view from outside wont see what's happening to his brain etc.

He also has no muscle strength or coordination on his left side ( mainly neck and arm (torticullitos)) which is going to have to require physiotherapy.

We are awaiting appointments in Glasgow for the results of the scans also appointments for MRI scan and CT Scan etc which is dangerous for children especially being premature and in general a small child with a developing brain. The radiation is dangerous. We are hoping this wont have to happen.

We are urgently looking to raise money to be able to go to a private doctor and purchase a cranial remolding helmet for Quinn which is not available on the NHS.

Once we can purchase this Quinn will wear this 23 hours a day and hopefully within a few months this will fix his skull and shape to the correct way it is.

He is now at the age of 5 months where he can wear this to help.

As a mum i've been worried about my baby since I first Found out I was pregnant. Me and Marc ( Quinn's dad ) will do everything in our power to make sure our boy lives a happy life and our main focus is and always will be his health and development.

We are worried , stressed and devastated for him. He has not had an easy life since he has been born.

Please help us to raise enough funds to help him live his life to the fullest.
