Help Us Rally Behind Dan Mitchell's Cancer Battle

Last week, following a summer of health-related issues involving his back, Daniel Mitchell--our beloved father/friend/husband/innkeeper/Oregon Ducks fan--was brought to the hospital for severe pain and dehydration.

During this stay, his health challenges took a serious turn when Dan was rushed to the ER with severe dehydration and pain. After extensive testing, we received devastating news: Dan has aggressive metastatic cancer affecting his pancreas, liver, and bones.

There are so many things we still need to figure out. In the meantime, Dan is at Maine Medical in Portland, Maine, being taken care of by a team of amazing doctors, nurses, and oncologists, as well as his wife, Cathy, who has remained at his bedside.

We are incredibly grateful that Dan has insurance coverage. However, there are numerous unexpected and upcoming expenses that extend beyond traditional medical costs...especially as a small business owner.
