Help Us Rebuild After A Traumatic Brain Injury

Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are reaching out to you in a time of great need. On the 19th August our lives were forever changed when my partner, Dali, suffered a severe traumatic brain injury, several bleeds on the brain and a skull fracture that left him in the ICU in a coma not being able to breathe on his own but our Dali is a fighter and is making such an amazing recovery, that's not to say we are in the clear yet, this incident has made him unable to work as a chef, a career he loved deeply and the duties that come from being a dad are now some of his greatest challenges.
This devastating incident has had a profound impact on our family of seven and the many others that love Dali, we are humbly seeking your support and generosity to help us navigate this challenging journey ahead.

The extent of Dali's injuries are unimaginable. He faces severe sensitivity to light and sound, amnesia, emotional challenges, and had initially experienced Bell's Palsy and left-side weakness with no likelihood that he would recover to the point he has been able to.
While his progress has been inspiring, his recovery remains an uphill battle and given the high-stress environment
of his previous work and life it will be hard for us to return to normal and the limited medical services available in our small town of Mount Gambier will make the process a lot slower, we are not sure how to navigate this on our own so we have decided to ask for help.

We are a family of seven, with five beautiful children who adore their father and have been worried sick not knowing if and when he will be returning home. Prior to this tragic incident, we were already grappling with the housing crisis in Australia, struggling to find suitable accommodation. Dali's injuries have made our living conditions even more difficult, as he lacks a private space to aid his recovery. Despite our previous hardships, his only wish is to be with his family during this challenging time.

Doctors informed us that most individuals do not survive injuries as severe as Dali's. Yet, every time he opened his eyes, he expressed his desire to return home to his beloved children. He is definitely the strongest man I know and we remain determined to support his recovery, but we cannot do it alone.

Your generosity can make a world of difference in our lives. Your contributions will go towards essential medical expenses, therapies, and improving our living situation to facilitate Dali's healing process. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to providing the care and support he needs.
We understand that times are tough for everyone, so even if you cannot afford to donate please share this so we can reach as many as possible, we deeply appreciate your consideration and support. Together, we can help Dali regain his health, reunite our family, and rebuild our lives.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of our journey to recovery
With immense gratitude,

Danielle
